and manufacturing processes are coordinated with sampling and
ordering systems. The Agilex IT department has created customized,
proprietary systems that ensure steady and reliable controls for

Manufacturing Practices (GMP): production operates using these
guidelines for food safety
- Sanitation
Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP): to ensure Food Contact
surfaces are cleaned and sanitized
- Hazard
Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP): to ensure no Microbiological,
Physical or Chemical Hazard can contaminate products during
processing. The program has been Certified by Steri-Tech. Agilex
has HACCP-certified personnel on-staff
Regulatory
standards
Agilex
operations are based upon and in compliance with regulatory standards
from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); California Department
of Health Services, Food and Drug Branch; County of Orange, Health
Care Agency; Environmental Health and Food Protection Program;
California Occupational Safety and Health Administration; California
Environmental Protection Agency; and the South Coast Air Quality
Management District.
We
meet all export documentation requirements in cooperation with
the country’s Consulate and the California Department of Health
and Human Services who issue “Free Sale Certificates”. North American
Fair Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Certificates and “Continuing Food
Guarantees”are also available.
Alcoholic
beverage manufacturers can rely on a highly experienced staff
well versed in Alcohol Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) procedures and
approvals. We can provide prepared Flavor Ingredient Data (FID)
sheets in a timely manner.

assurance/quality control
Agilex
Flavors’ QA/QC programs span from raw materials to finished product
testings. These programs adhere to our core values of the Agilex
flavor division – Safety, Quality and Productivity.
- Our
quality processes ensure that all incoming raw materials meet
specifications and that all outgoing finished products meet
or exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Agilex
uses a Lot Code System that automatically assigns a unique alphanumeric
lot number to each batch we manufacture. The numbers are progressive
and are traceable to the product’s manufacturing date and receipt
of raw materials.
- Bi-annual
third-party auditing performed by the American Institute of
Baking (AIB); annual Organic Certification by Quality Assurance
International.
- All
of our packaging is FDA Compliant and we can accordingly issue
appropriate Certifications.
- Halal
Compliant Certification and Kosher Certification are also available
as required.
